The 1952 Ford F-1 appearance changes were confined to minor hood trim
revisions & a few variations in color choices. It also offered a new ohv 6 cylinder engine. The 215 c.i. engine
produced 101 hp @ 3,500 rpm with a compression raio of 7:1. The 239 c.i. V-8 featured a slight boost in power from
100 to 108 hp. This The 192 model would be the last F-1. The 1953 model would start the F-100
series.
Production quotas imposed by the government in 1952 limited availability. Ford built a
total of 94,148 F-1's.

Ford celebrated it's 50th anniversary with a new
truck. The 1953 F-1 became the F-100, the F-2 became the F250 and the F-3 became the F-350. It featured a
well-designed cab, convenient controls and a more comfortable driving position. The 110hp flathead V-8 was carried
over from previous years.
